Welcome to our website. St Augustine's is a school in the heart of Limerick City. The school first opened it's doors in 1977. It was first located in the Limerick Youth Centre on Glentworth St. It was then housed in Augstinian Lane, until 2011. Now we are located in a magnificent building on Sexton St.

The school has been assisted by the Augustinian order, who have been a great support of the years. We hope you enjoy the site. Just click on the links to see more about us and the things that we do.

Thank you for visiting our school site. Please take time to look through the various links to find out more about what we do. Be sure to revisit us again as we will be updating it on a regular basis. If you want to contact us, just drop us an e-mail.Finally, be sure to check out the videoson each page.

St. Augustine's School is one of five Youth Encounter Project schools in Ireland. YEP's provide an alternative model of education. We cover the JCSP programme and study Maths, English, Woodwork, ICT, Irish Culture and Sports.

Our principal is David Dineen and our deputy-principal is Angela Flanagan.

There have been many students through our doors since 1977, so please do visit the "Memory Lane" link to have a look at some of the photos through the years. Past principals include Andrew O'Byrne (2011-2016), Noel Fox (2004 - 2011) & John Hanna (1977-2004).
